| | The bityard is my personal site, currently containing this blog. I'm mostly using this as a brain dump for useful information, which might also be helpful to others. I'm currently working as a sysadmin and am located in the southern part of germany. Since my professional expertise and personal fields of interest are Unix and Linux in any variation, storage, backup, monitoring and open source in general (see my XING and Google+ profiles for detailed information), there will probably be a lot of information related to those areas. Besides from almost being a textbook computer geek, i'm also kind of a science nerd (with a degree in Biology). |
