====== AIX RPMs: Perl and CPAN Perl Modules ======

Following up to the previous posts, regarding the topic of [[http://www.bityard.org/blog/?btng%5Bpost%5D%5Btags%5D=RPM|AIX RPM packages]], here are several new AIX RPM packages related to Perl:

  * **Perl**: Basically the same as [[http://www.perzl.org/aix/index.php?n=Main.Perl|Michael Perzls Perl package]], but with a more recent upsteam version and build with the IBM XL C/C++ compiler. Thus it does not depend on libgcc to be installed, but requires all Perl modules to also be build with the IBM XL C/C++ compiler.
